Indeed. However, will the figures look quite so satisfying tomorrow when, no doubt, the establishment will trot out yet another economic "egg-spurt" to tell us that if we vote OUT all of our grandchildren will turn out ginger and we will be plagued by poison-spitting frogs?

That's GHASTLY. Ginger grandchildren? If there is anything that might sway me, it could well be that...

TBH, I'm not sure this is particularly good news for us, as any false sense of security among Bremain voters will be ebbing, so turnout is likely to be higher. This will be decided on turnout (all the polls apply a turnout filter).

Perhaps it could also spur the "Leave" vote, who may now think that there's actually a chance of winning.

I still think Remain will win. Fear on the day will drive people to vote for what they're being told is the status quo.

All Remain had to do was keep quiet and let the Leave campaign do itself over. Instead we had 'Project Fear', a hard core example of reptitive foot shooting exercise in which we have been patronisingly told that if we don't do the 'right' thing, we will all pay the price. This has then been reinforced by the occasional self-interested foreignor.

To cap it all, last night we Gideon telling everyone that the Leave vote was for rich people and the poor would be hit hardest. Apart from ignoring the immigration issue, how bloody patronising.

Even if people ultimately vote to Remain on the day, it's easy to see why they are saying they will vote Leave now.
