During the General Election, there were loads of UKIP posters everywhere. They got a lot of votes but it made no difference.
The system is stacked against change.
The polling makes me wonder whether people really want to leave or are just being bolshie because they don't like being told what to think by politicians and vested interests.Comment

We'll be billing as usual come June 24. Insulting ~50% of the population in every other post gives the impression that you're rattled and bereft of anything substantial to say. You've become radicalised by the campaign. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

Originally posted by jamesbrown View PostI seriously hope that, whichever side loses, they accept the result. It probably isn't going to happen though. At one point, I thought Remain would take this 60/40, and I think even hardcore leavers would've had to accept that, but that seems all but impossible now. Sadly, it's probably going to be ugly, either way.
Referendums do damage. The wounds back home are still very visible."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

The interesting question will be how the British people will take it when they realise how little difference Brexit has made. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
