Please tell us you meant to say the Falklands, and please tell us when and how you're going to remove yourself from the gene pool if you seriously believe they are in Europe.

Oh, and the Cold War wasn't really a proper war, but this is probably already going so far over your head you can't wait to fall over.

When I was young, I thought the British spirit was talking loudly at foreigners and reminding them we have won a war at some point.

Agree, the EU needs fixing and the UK needs to pay more attention be involved. Throwing money at it like an unwanted subscription is not on.

Two world wars and one world cup.

Though of course we didn't win the world wars all on our own. In fact, we only managed to win at all by entering into alliances with a number of other nations.

We may have won the world cup without outside assistance, but that was fifty years ago. Also, winning a soccer trophy isn't actually important.

As our Scots friends will know all too well, it was a dodgy Russian linesman what dun it.

Didn't they all start because they all decided to break away from a union that held them together?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
