Deja vu all over again or what. Perhaps now you're beginning to understand where Scotland was coming from. As the 23rd nears the same wasted passion is emerging. Fear wins at the end of the day. You all know you're going to bottle it on the 23rd so why even try?
I completely understand where Scotland was coming from. Well some at least. It's a shame they bottled it.

And you are probably correct, fear of change may well win out.

That's fine. As long as the young understand they are signing up to never owning a home and to the unemployment rate reaching the same levels as the rest of the EU. And to racial and economic unrest, terror attacks from within. Unelected EU Commission managing the budget etc.

Shame it will shaft my son who is too young to vote but if it keeps the socialist ideal going, that's fine. Still, the eventual European war will sort it all out.

You didn't say that. You said we didn't join the EU, which is an odd thing to say when you're complaining about us being in the EU.

We didn't vote on joining the EEC either. We joined, then had a vote on whether to remain. And we didn't vote on joining NATO or anything else for that matter. No democracy lets people decide everything; that would be silly.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

The EU is not perfect, but at least it does something to preserve human rights, sometimes misguided, but at least it's an attempt to help anyone to a better life, a better existence by protecting what we are; human living beings. Economically and socially.

Look at what Westminster is giving us; scraping every last penny out of the disadvantaged, sending our Soldiers to fight pointless wars to face weapons this country and it's allies have sold to the other side, forcing severely disabled to work, extracting every last piece of dignity from ordinary working people.
        OMG this ^^

I wonder how many brexitiers even have a passport or explored the world proper. The shortsightedness of the exit camp drives me pluto (in case you haven't noticed).

Some will say that's rather extreme, but it's pretty much my feelings on the outcome. The EU will come apart, it's just at what point and how bad it'll be.

Better that than the alternative of my grandparents. I grew up with IRA bombings on the telly every other week. Seriously, IS? stick to throwing rocks.

The cost of housing is an internal problem nadda to do with the EU. How is Scotland managed to keep house prices normal as well as it's population?

And there was I thinking that Scotland has been part of the UK for the last three centuries.

Patent nonsense. When was the last time you were in London?

From where I am sitting you've got a bit of a hang up with anything British (probably read English). Have you parents that are Irish Republicans or something similar?

Don't know. Every time I get close I'm overcome with pollution. I wake up the next day in the countryside somewhere.

I remember being asked that question by an old dear at a bus-stop in Belfast. "who are your parents son?' Foooookk.. I was like "Must of us start with 'Hello'".

I don't have a hang up with anything British. Nonsense. But I do hate to see an abuse of power. It's not right. It's definitely not British.

And that is exactly why it's two fingers up to the EU.

People in Belfast don't ask you which 'side' you come from. It's far more subtle than that, like how you pronounce the letter 'h'. Even most people's name would be a total give away which is why you'll rarely get them to volunteer it.
