    Agreed.

I've expensed such claims before for a AGM. No problem.

Individual limited companies should never exist. Permies avoiding taxes wondering when hector is going to snare them. The stress.

Do it properly, hire a director in Barcelona. All the big companies do it.

      Sorry -"BBP"

Though I'm sure that with the first BBP you only paid 1% tax. I guess the QC who approved that scheme retired to Panama....

1% tax..... That's far more than our scheme expects you to pay.

Whether you actually see any of the money you pay in depends on when you join the scheme relative to us doing a runner....

While we would view Eek's scheme as unnecessarily open to challenge, we are flattered that he has tried to copy some of the key payment vehicle features, such as personal introductory fees and miscellaneous outgoings.

So do pickpockets. Try expensing that.

                  What your common sense says?
If you go on business you can expense the travel including the hotel.

Common sense and HMRC do not go hand in hand.

                      LOL

HMRC means "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs"?
