I think what I said about the speed creating lots of pressure must be wrong too. Presumably the max possible there is also 1 atmosphere.

My understanding was something like 20,000lb of force is needed to pull the door in (to open) when there is a pressure differential of 5millibar or more.

I think it is called speed tape and can cost several grand per roll. It's used to protect seals while they cure amongst other things

The only reason that would be applied is because the lift up engine covers were not aligned properly letting air in producing vibration.
