Even if depressurised?Originally posted by PurpleGorilla View PostOn an A320. No.
Not sure if it was mythbusters, but the scare stories about nutters opening doors mid flight were debunked as not normally possible due to cabin pressure exceeding the outside where doors opened inwards.
Try it next time bored on a flight. The crew and passengers will just laugh as you swing on the door handle and won't even bother to get you arrested on landing. Guaranteed.
Similar to how you can't open a car door underwater unless you have a window open before being fully submerged.Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment

Dunno about a depressurised cabin at altitude - there may be a wheels up interlock as per other ac (747).Originally posted by Hobosapien View PostEven if depressurised?

The 320 door has to be pulled in to the cabin in order to shorten slightly before being pushed out. The cabin pressure as you say has to be overcome - which is huge at altitude. It takes a few second on landing to equalise the pressure. The bits of the door that move in form a decompression protection device when they lock into the fuselage.Comment

Possible attack on crew inside the plane?
Whatever it was, let's not forget a large number of people (66?) have lost their lives. RIP.Comment

FlightRadar24 keeps all the stats of previous airports. I used it to try and track my missing specs left on a BA flight after a terrible drinking accident.

No, that eventuality would have the caveat....."not much debris found".Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostThey have opened up SASguru's head ?
