in your case it would be of more like "up" with the working class
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone
a) Manufactures lobby the EU (or more specifically the German government) and insist post-Brexit trade deals are favourable;
b) Manufacturers go through the grief of relocating their plants and skilled labour.

Yeah, UK manufacturers, especially cars, would get super favourable treatment in Germany and France
