You're right. Only the elite should have a say. This is the EU way don't you know.

The rest should cough up their taxes and be quiet.

Remaining in the EU means Britain's soldiers can better protect us, as I have seen
Oh and we are not part of Shengen - everyone has to show their passport on entering the UK.
I guess you believed the South Yorkshire Police in 1989 then as well.

Currently 6 states have re-imposed border controls. UK and Ireland never joined.
So clearly its a non-issue if you can reimpose controls when you like.
Otherwise it's pretty convenient for business people.
Last year I went from Dusseldorf to Zurich with no border controls - nice.
        Hard Brexit now!

It's this kind of non sequitur that makes me doubt your intellectual ability.

Oh here we go, let's do some Latin quotes to confirm that his head is as far up his own 'arris as a SAS guru's head should be.

If you don't follow the logic that you're buying the top brass party line of fear-mongering, then I'll leave you to it.

So really you're saying I should believe you rather than this bloke:

Colonel Angus Loudon MBE served in the British Army for 34 years. He saw service in Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Cyprus, including deployments with the UN, the EU, and NATO.

                  Why?

You do know Norway, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine and New Zealand were part of Operation Atalanta, right?

                    Oops.

                      Another non sequitur.
If you can, you should try and be rigorous in your arguments rather spouting random crap.
I was merely asking you why I should believe your (non-)argument on the topic of national security (that it would better served by leaving) rather than a highly experienced professional soldier who is of the opinion that it would be damaging?
