The makeup, expensive haircuts, high heels, hours on the gym machines which in particular enhance appearance over fitness, & flattering bras are all for themselves and are in no way related to how other people view them in terms of physical attractiveness.
It's all about a privileged half of the species wielding power. The natural power a woman has over men while she is young is not enough - she must make herself an object of desire whilst chastising any of the less privileged half of the species for objectifying that object of desire. It's a sick mind game.
Fortunately most women are cool, and that minority are deliciously unaware of the contrast between a man's growing sexual market value over time and that of women who's sexual market value plummets off a cliff later in life.
I just worry that political correctness is making the young girls vulnerable to that poison to the extent that maybe one day the majority will not be cool - and that will lead to lots of very unhappy older women who haven't invested their youth wisely in order to retain their men over the long term.Comment

People aren't robots. If you are very attractive, and a person of the opposite sex knowledges it, nothing wrong with that. As long as they are not a vulgar a-hole about it. Far too much trouble-stirring and self pity about these days.Comment

Haven't we all missed the point here? What the hell was Edwina Currie doing taking part in a discussion on use of the word "totty"?
It's not a word that's likely to have bothered her much in the past, is it? My bet is she had to look it up in a dictionary beforehand...His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment
