Therein lies the problem. The PM should manage the RAID log, not you.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostWeekly RAID log issued to PM, along with executive summary email. He didn't read it. And by doing things like this, you set yourself up perfectly to be the fall guy when things go wrong - "he did the RAID log, and was managing all those bits"Originally posted by LondonManc View PostTherein lies the problem. The PM should manage the RAID log, not you.Comment

Sounds like the Project Manager is more cut out to be a contractor than suity. Great question.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostSo why are you worried?
You aren't responsible for managing the project, so I'm not sure why the "woe is me" thread.
You are exactly right. It's not my problem. And I know this. My problem time and time again is that I worry too much.
This has on occasion caused my (mental) health to fail.
I think Sas has a point.
The thread was clearly a cry for help. I think it paid off, as I can see some people say to let it go and keeeep invoicing (makes me feel uncomfortable), or get out (I have been criticised for having too many short gigs, is less than 12 months).Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Seriously Suity, why don't you get a permie job and truly master it before you become a contractor?Hard Brexit now!

Not wishing to be awkward suits but given the stress you were in prior to this contract and your panicking when unable to find a contract, are you really COTBAC?merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

Anyone who uses the term "for my sins" in their sig, publicly promises a web site for a worthy cause then flounces when the going gets tough isn't really qualified to comment I'd say.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
