Not much there in the way of EU countries, quite a lot of Commonwealth though
Quite true that migrants from most EU countries are not the lowest performers, for those we do mainly do have to thank the Commonwealth especially Sub Saharan Africa, The West Indies and South Asia, apart from India. Also quite true, probably, that in a few decades, major Eastern European countries like Poland and The Czech republic will advance greatly and the relationship will be much more reciprocal. Brits may well be going there to work.

However, citing a problem that needs to be tackled is not a logical reason to dismiss another. No nation can possibly grow its infrastructure, schools, housing and other resources at a rate to cope with the influx we are currently getting. I very much support the principles of a United Europe and it would be great if the EU dictators had had the sense to go more slowly, but unfortunately these egotistical visionaries are incapable of grasping the problems in the here and now for real people.

Nothing matters to these people but their ego-driven idealism and they will never learn. Do you have to be an expert to know that a common currency without proper controls and checks and a reasonable convergence of economies could never work? To know that abolishing Europe's internal borders without beefing up the external ones would inevitably allow greater illegal immigration?

Does it never concern anybody that Europe's long progress towards real democracy is effectively at an end? The European Commission is the most powerful body in the EU and proposes most of the laws. So which commissioner did you vote for? Oh no, you didn't of course, they were just people you have never heard of put in their position of power by behind-the-scenes deals between other people you had never voted for.

You think there will be problems leaving the EU? You are right but compare them to the problems staying in. What do you think will happen to immigration when Turkey, Albania or Serbia join? Not just from those countries, the larger an area becomes the more porous its borders become for pretty obvious reasons. Are you aware, for example, that Turkey hands out e-visas to citizens of Islamic countries including Somalia, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Sudan? No checks, just a form to be filled in and a fee to be paid online. And who are the women engaging in sham marriages to Africans and Pakistanis? Not British ones. What do you think could happen to our economy if the EU decides to put more restrictions on the banking sector, not so important in other EU nations?

The future is uncertain either way but at least we do have some control over it if we get out.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

It's ok. I've changed it again. Wouldn't want to be the cause of marital strife. Or in your case - even more marital strife.

Linking anyone with the French is the biggest insult possible. Please do the needful.

Then they should be stripped of their UK passport.
