Just in time - my parents are offloading their decrepit 2012-vintage TV onto me, as and when I get around to collecting it from them.

I assume, as the government are planning to "rush" this secondary legislation and they are completely technically incompetent, that it will be ill-thought-out in principle and unworkable in practice

Considering some people pay £30+ month to watch some gits kick a pigs bladder around I think the license is cheap. I suspect the only way to get around it is to scramble the program and the punters PAYG via a card (a la Sky et al) or summink.

They need to scramble BBC radio as well especially in cars - no need to hear news and traffic reports when you are driving.

          And the internet site....

Those people CHOOSE to pay £30 to watch poofs kick a ball.

I CHOOSE not to watch BBC, why the **** should I pay?

Why not make everyone pay £500 for the Daily Mail as an enforced annual fee, whether you read it or not?

Thought you'd like that. They can spend it on more Kim Kardashian articles.

To be fair, they are not all poofs. Some are rapists. Some are child abusers. And some are speeders.

I suggest £1000 per year for CUK upkeep.
