I didn't realise who she was until some historian on a podcast I listen to explained.
She had about 15 years of living and not giving a f*** as she completely came out of her shell.
She wasn't actually a code breaker but an admin bod who ensured that the right parties got the right information in a very timely manner. (If you work on projects were there is an issue with communication someone like this is gold dust.)
She was also in her more mature years able to explain what happened in Betchley and in the army involving women. This was in more detail than historians initially got get information about after the war when they were finally able to ask questions about ordinary everyday things.
