If you genuinely are concerned about an over reaction then shouldn't you be taking a similar position to me where you don't want such small events to be published in national news outlets? Surely the more attention we give people like this the worse we make the situation?

so one minute you say that no quality newspaper would report such things then when I produce 3 stories from a quality newspaper you contend that its invalid because the two milder reports are in the UK.

Make your mind up. Either they don't report such things or they do.

My point was that decent national papers don't *generally* cover low key events from other countries, of course there are exceptions to the rule. The point stands that I wouldn't expect the BBC to cover such an event which was the original point.

See it how you like, but as far as I am concerned, you are spamming the forum with links to news sites. Where they are relevant to some on-going incident, then they'll stay. Where they're not, they'll get merged here.

Your link concerning some lads behaving badly in the middle of Germany is hardly a major news story. For some very odd reason you think it should be front page headlines and the lead story on the BBC. But then, you think your post was merged because someone was losing an argument, so rationality is hardly your strong point.

Hardly spamming I create 2-3 posts a day. Even when you merge them for 3 months you get to a staggering 68 pages with many posts having multiple pages of replies.

Hard to see it as anything other than victimization and a fit of pique when you only merged my threads, what am I supposed to assume when you do that? You went to the extent of changing the thread title to include any threads posted by me relevant or not. Many were light humoured and received a number of replies. If they are in a major newspaper on the front page in the news section I would argue they are relevant regardless of YOUR censorship.
