If you have watched 24 hours in A&E you see other people who are continually drunk but are dying of heart disease at 40/50, others who have liver disease etc.

Interestingly enough as anyone here knowingly taken part in a long term medical study for any disease?

I found this interesting in the list of "harmful" things.

An hour of TV watching a day
Is this because of the radiation ?

Well the sort of radiation coming off a TV is so feeble it can't penetrate anything more than the skin. So are they suggesting TV's cause skin cancer ?

I can imagine that if you were to eat your TV that this could be harmful.
      I'm alright Jack

Nope it's because you ain't moving your butt and likely indulging in eating junk food.
Plus it effects your well being negative which impacts your mental health.

In other news, full fat Coke now declared better than Diet Coke. So a JD and coke has balanced itself out. Splendid.

Having spent a few years visiting my mum in a care home before she passed away, and seeing what it's like to be old, I'd rather have lots of fun and sign out early.

My Mum died last year at only 67 from one of those random bad luck things. It does make you think that worrying about living another 50 years or working like a dog now now so you can have a nice pension is all a bit ridiculous.

How come they've reduced the limit for men but not for women? Does this mean the average woman now weighs the same as the average man? Or are women just better at handling their alcohol.
no its just that their imaginary science free limits weren't irritating enough so they lowered them.

This faux science comes from the same bunch that thinks you really do have fire in your belly!
