I've expensed 2 bottles of champagne and plenty of other drinks to a consultancy I have done time for before.Originally posted by FatLazyContractor View PostYou claim alcohol on company ?
NLUK? Bolshie? Heard that?

They had no problem as the end client was happy to sign off.
Not a mainland UK based client, obviously, they would be too damn tight.

My last car was a CRV (05), bought a demonstrator and ran it for 10 years 120K miles, only ever replaced tyres and brakes. Same battery etc, nothing else just servicing. Utterly reliable, although it was thirsty.Originally posted by WTFH View PostThe Wife(tm)'s last car was a Honda CRV. 4wd petrol. Drank the fuel like a contractor at a free bar (24mpg on long runs). Couldn't pull teeth. Needed a new battery every other year. We bought it when it was 2 years old. Had more issues in 4 years of Honda ownership than 8 years of me driving Alfas.
It replaced a Civic Coupe, which also ran faultlessly for 10 years, and this year I have just replaced the CRV with a Civic (a lot less thirsty).Comment

Well if you have had so much sucess with Honda's and like them, is an Accord Estate not an option? Sure they are a little bland but the boot is huge and they are pretty reliable.Comment

My father looks after my son, and is home all day. I wouldn't dream of considering a dog otherwise, but thanks for your sanctimonious reply anyway, nobhead.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostWho's gonna look after this **** off massive dog whilst you are at work?
