          My money goes into ISAs!

I appreciate that £500k is expensive. That is my whole point though. £500k is a huge amount of money, but prices are so high what it gets you is **** all.

When my parents and other people's parents I know brought their houses they were in then unfashionable parts of London. Once people were priced out of the fashionable parts their property prices rose.

The same has happened to all my siblings and me, and we span 2 generations.

In short if you can't afford a 500K house find an area not full of riff raff you can afford and buy a property there.

Places do still actually exist like that. The issue is finding them - however you won't find them by moaning on here.
