If Trump wants to come to the UK let him, just insist he appears on #HIGNFY. They would rip the piss out of him like nobody's business. I'd pay to see that.I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. Democracy is the people's freedom to choose who to represent them. If you limit the field to only those who conform to the current status quo, then doesn't that render the vote pretty redundant?Originally posted by Bee View PostIn my humble opinion, democracy does not mean to be a bullie, democracy have also limits otherwise will be an anarchy.
Suppose trump wants to redefine the definition of bullie... how can we, the people, express our collective approval or disapproval if he's prohibited from even running on such a platform?
If dave cameron decides that rape is good and virtuous, and makes it illegal for anyone who thinks otherwise to participate in the democratic process, then do we just accept rape as de facto virtuous and good?Comment
