There is no right or wrong, when it comes to tax, they are just a series of laws.

Makes me laugh, there are so many, on here, that believe we should be paying more of it.
I already pay plenty and they can't even provide value for money, for that.

How do you define value for money?

Of course the whole thing with tax is that you get the same back for your tax regardless how much you earn/pay. So in a way the more you earn, the more you pay, the less value for money it is.
Try dropping your rates and then you'll be getting relatively more for your money.

I don't smoke either so I'm avoiding that tax contribution, although there's a LOT of tax on single malt whisky. I reckon I make up any tax short-fall that way

Your behaviour on this forum suggests aspects of your character - I don't need to insult you, I simply feel, given what I know of you, that you wouldn't know a good malt if it landed on your head.
My achievements and self-worth really don't come into it.

If I buy whisky I don't like I give it away, but sure, whatever you say daddy-o. And sure there's crap, but it has sod all to do with price. Expecting distillers to say there's bad malt is a lot like expecting arms manufacturers to say guns are a bad thing. Never going to happen.

You see what's happened here is this: you have made an enemy of me. Many on this forum have blocked your tripe (I know this because they've been sending me fan mail, which is cute), me, I'll just keep cutting you down. I enjoy that kind of thing.
