Makes me laugh, there are so many, on here, that believe we should be paying more of it.
I already pay plenty and they can't even provide value for money, for that.
Of course the whole thing with tax is that you get the same back for your tax regardless how much you earn/pay. So in a way the more you earn, the more you pay, the less value for money it is.
Try dropping your rates and then you'll be getting relatively more for your money.
I'm healthy, don't drive much, live in a low-crime area and have no kids needing educating. So I'm getting a really crap deal on MY taxes!Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I don't smoke either so I'm avoiding that tax contribution, although there's a LOT of tax on single malt whisky. I reckon I make up any tax short-fall that wayOriginally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

You can take the kid out of the school playground but you can't ...
Seriously, you want to insult me for my choice of whisky? Is your life really SO empty of any shred of achievement or self-worth?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

My achievements and self-worth really don't come into it.
Simply put I meant exactly what I said.I'm a smug bastard.Comment

From your behaviour, it's clear you'd buy whisky you didn't even like, purely so you could boast about how much you'd spent on it to anyone who was unwise enough to talk to you.
There's actually no such thing as a crap single malt whisky, only personal tase. I mean, I'm only quoting the people who work in the distilleries here. You'd probably know better...Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

You see what's happened here is this: you have made an enemy of me. Many on this forum have blocked your tripe (I know this because they've been sending me fan mail, which is cute), me, I'll just keep cutting you down. I enjoy that kind of thing.
Shall we discuss your achievements and self-worth now?I'm a smug bastard.Comment
