No, but itOriginally posted by LucidDementia View PostSo a sea level rise of 1 metre is the end of the world now? /chortlewouldwill cause a refugee crisis that will make what we face now look like a vicarage tea party. Storm surges far worse, billions of pounds of new sea and flood defences, massive displacement of people, unless we can build a wall round Bangladesh?
Also, you don't need to flood a city to make it uninhabitable, about a billion people in coastal populations rely on underwater aquifers, these are already under stress due to overextraction and vulnerable to inunundation by saltwater with just modest SLR. But hey its not happening yet so why worry?

We have established that PJ Clarke is not interested in solving the problem of climate change - which means that it is not really a problem at all. He is more interested in using it to manipulate others. Instead of facing this question he is ignoring it.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

In the interests of fairness I'll give him a chance.
Please tell me exactly what I can do to help stop the tide of doom.
