As Goldeneye are using the civil courts you don't have to have done the actual act there just needs to be sufficient evidence to convince the judge you very likely did do it. In other words I agree with Mr Judgment.

Sorry, you're way off legally. The claimant has to prove that an individual (who may or may not be the account holder) illegally downloaded content to which the claimant holds copyright. If they can't prove that, they will lose. Oh, and for Christ's sake, learn how to spell judgement

The indictment charges Hansmeier and Steele with a raft of federal crimes: conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy to suborn perjury in federal court. As usual, if you count up the statutory maximum sentence for all of these crimes, you get a ridiculous number that bears no relation to the probable sentences they face if convicted. However, given the amounts discussed in the indictment, they are facing years in federal prison.

Yep they know this too. Eventually someone will put a stop to it. But for now there are many people who crap themselves and cough up the £500.

How many people out there are married to spouses who would literally divorce them if they got accused of downloading porn? I've got mates terrified that their wives will find out that they've been to lapdancing places on rugby tours.

Anyone whos ever been there (not that Im a frequent visitor but I have been when tanked up for a laugh) will know the chances of any proper "action" there are nil. Touch the dancers and you WILL get a good kicking out the back.
