At times like this, in the 2 weeks up to SR, no one is listening to focus groups. You've seriously underestimated the pressure Ministers are under to cut costs and what they'll do to reach HMT targets.

I sent the link about this 'one month then on the payroll' to 6 of my IT colleagues who work alongside me. Not one has raised any concern, not one.

I've spoken to four where I am - none of them seem to think it applies to them, none of them are concerned, they all think that they are special.

I do admit, by doing nothing about it, you are a bit special.

They'd never heard about it, T&S relief or the dividend tax.

The eldest said, it'll never happen, everyone else goes back to work.

TBF, you could ask most contractors about IR35 and they'd go "What's that then?"

well if they'd force me into PAYE then i wouldn't take it and do something else. So somewhat doesn't concern some of us indeed..

I don't think they will have capability to hit LTD consultants - they tried that with IR35 and failed. I strongly believe at this point its all about self-employed and some managers etc, not IT LTD consultancies
