Tablets and phones age quickly. By which I mean: manufacturers stop supporting them quickly. Samsung does anyway.Comment

Glad to hear Apple support their kit for longer. Good argument for Apple right there.
I just installed PCLinuxOS 2013 on a 1998 laptop. And it is usable for browsing and running Office. Just. Apparently Windows 7 would also work. Could phone/tablet makers support their old kit in the same way ? Or do they remove support just to make us throw stuff in landfill ?Comment
