They could push for another vote if the EU referendum goes ahead. That would be sufficiently major to warrant it. Maybe something like
'If the UK leaves the EU would Scotland want to stay as an independent state.'
Other than that I would suggest they need to wait a decade or two.Comment

All this chatter really isn't about getting another referendum, it's about the SNP staying in charge of the herd when they know fine well there is no chance they would win another referendum for at least 5 years.
There is a real chance the movement could fragment and turn to infighting. Which would be nice.Comment

A single, 2nd re-referendum I can understand especially in light of the UK EU referendum; that is a special circumstance. Scottish politics has also seen a massive change since the referendum and if the Scots feel that Westminster made promises to keep them in the union which are not being honoured then a 2nd vote is not untoward.
