But that's the last shot they should get for a couple of decades.
      Yup

Looks like 60% support for independence over a year is now the trigger ( according to the ST ).

Absolutely no chance of that unless the Scottish government department of anti English propaganda up their game.

          Why

The first one was supposed to be the last shot they should get for a couple of decades.

As soon as you backtrack on that, you accept that there will be one every few years until they give the "right" answer.

If they do get a second referendum can we be sure the morons will actually vote the way England wants the next time ?

Perhaps the 2016 EU referendum vote should become a 2 part

                • Scotland out of the Union Y/N
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

They should just run a referendum on whether to have a new independence referendum.

                  Simples.

England wants Scotland to stay more than Scotland wants to stay with England. There is a range between 59% and 65% in support of the union.

Not that someone in the sticks like yourself represents England of course.

Sounds like a company I worked at once, "we need a meeting about that but first we'll have a meeting to discuss that meeting!"
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
