    1. Why were these people on boats trying to get to Greece and risking life and limb in this way? Surely, it would be safer to cross from Syria into a neighbouring country like Greece?

    2. Is it right that countries like Saudi Arabia have said no way to even 1 refugee? Doesn't seem right that we have to carry the can when there is a closer country which would be more suitable.

    3. Why are refugees in Serbia trying to get to Hungary? Why are refugees in France trying to get to the UK? Surely, if you're fleeing danger you're happy when you get somewhere safe?

But, tongue in cheek, I think we know the answers to most of these questions.....
Cant you email them to Corbyn ? He will ask in PMQs and you can get a reasoned explanation of the issue.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !

Not atypical stories in today's news:

Gatwick refugee: "I've been kidnapped, imprisoned, beaten up and sexually harassed - please let me stay in Britain" | Crawley News
Aylan Kurdi relatives living in France: country is open-air prison, give me Britain - Telegraph

Few seem to have quite such liberal asylum policies as we do in the UK. Maybe we need to address them.

The men are actually fleeing military service. (There are loads more links if you look for them)

They have a choice of either having to fight the for the al-Assad regime or for IS.

Lots of people run away from doing compulsory military service even when their country isn't in civil war.

You miss the point, yet again. Kurdish men are not fleeing, they are fighting to protect their own towns. Kurdish women are also not fleeing, they are fighting to protect their towns. They (the Kurdish men) are mocking the young fit Syrian men who would rather flee and leave their women and children behind, than fight for their own towns and country.

A bit like the Brits mock the French for surrendering in WW2 rather than fighting, while others went in to do the dirty work.

I think you're missing the point as SE is talking about Syrians and not Kurds
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Yes, that's correct - the Syrian men are fleeing, and the Kurds are mocking them for it, because even the Kurdish women stay and fight.

Atrocities happened in WW2, and the Brits stayed and fought, alongside Kiwis, Aussies, Indians, Irish, French and Belgian resistance, and many others. It's the appeasers and surrender monkeys that run away.

If this is not sorted by next spring there will be 10 to 20 thousand a day making it to Europe.

It's a total shambles and again Germany and Greece are at the centre of it.
