I could tell you about my grandfather who when he returned back from the war was disgusted at the way that returning servicemen had nowhere to live and so became a leading light with the British Legion campaign to persuade local councils to rehouse returning soldiers (such as the Temporary Prefabricated Housing program.)
Maybe we could look after our own if everyone wasn't so selfish but that is part and parcel of a right wing government, live with it

We can look after our own. We're just choosing not to. Do not get me wrong it is a very very small minority who are trying to use this crisis as a way to establish terrorist cells in Europe but it only takes a few to kill many innocents doesn't it
