The issue came to a head in 1999 when couple's son Ben was only offered a place at a comprehensive which had been placed on a list of failing schools.
His then wife, the left-wing Chilean campaigner Claudia Bracchitta, refused to let the then 11-year-old pay the price for his father's political beliefs and decided to send him to a grammar school nine-miles away from their home on the outskirts of London.
in other words this great man of "principle" believes that everyone should take whatever the state dishes out.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

At best, it is an abortive stop-gap measure to slowly unwind a problem governments strongly helped create and encourage in the first place. At worst, they become so addicted to it that they cannot think of a way to slowly remove it without causing significant market disruption. Central bankers are slowly beginning to admit this, even if only in private mutterings.
So it means he either will temper any "soak the rich" policies or will have to deal with the consequences of them planning around this. Meanwhile, the "soak the rich" policies will gradually be extended to the middle classes as well.Last edited by Zero Liability; 22 August 2015, 10:55.Comment

That MP with a tiny nudge from other parents would make your life absolute hell I know teachers who sent their kids to the "wrong" school by accident and they were disruptive enough...."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
