      Seriously. Mine's a Fuji Finepix too. Only one I've found that does such close ups properly. Got a more expensive camera that focuses well when you do a prefocus but usually goes out of focus when you actually take the picture.

            I started dabbling with reverse mounted lenses on my old Canon 40D, basically an adapter so you screw it on to the front of the lens (the filter thread) and then on to the lens mount of the camera.

            Got some suprisingly good results, this was hand held of a bee on the wall:

            (Lens was an old manual focus zoom that cost about £8)

              My phone has a manual focus mode, it is wonderful for pictures like that.

              Bumblebees are great. Nice.
