I thought the difference between a contractor and a consultant is about £500/d more [emoji102]Comment

I was a consultant for 14 years, now a contractor. Seems the same to me except the projects are longer and I get to keep what was the "margin".Comment

The IT contractor celebrates they don't need to do permie character building workshops like 'how to maximise the smugness of explaining you're a certified scrum master'
The IT consultant teaches the workshop and charges £5000/weekend for itUnless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful Wife
And you may ask yourself, "Well... how did I get here?"
The point I am trying to make is:
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
