                  Family and friends are put off contracting by the whole wage slave thing. Mortgages and cost of living are such a burden, and they have so little reserves, they can't take the risk. Which means anyone fortunate and diligent enough can position themselves for contracting. It just takes a bit off effort and self control.

                    For some reason everyone thinks I'm minted and is constantly trying to find out how much I earn, they also notice if I've been on holiday, have bought a new care or made some improvements to the house. It's going to send them into overdrive if they ever find out I'm about to get a BTL
