If you are prepared to include monosyllabic semi-literate gibberish under the bracket of "music" of course.
Which is a leap too far for anyone with an ear for melody.

I see you have a very narrow definition of music. Melody isn't even required for it to be music in many cultures.

I hardly think you know much about rap music if you think it is mono-syllabic; the intricacies of the language is the key feature.

Now whilst I can readily accept that banal nonsense like this might appeal to someone that accepts the existence of imaginary friends, please don't try to suggest that it is something that ought to be embraced and lauded by those of us with an IQ higher than our shoe size.
I am sure John Lennon is spinning in his grave at the challenge posed by "Kanye" and his deep meaningful prose.

He makes Goldie Lookin Chain sound like lyrical geniuses, they're 10 times the rap star he'd ever be and they're only a comedy act rather a proper band
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Ah Rap music, music that starts with a silent C.

I don't mind a bit of Kanye West music, luckily I don't take lyrics too seriously.

But the man himself seems to be a bit of an arse.

(I will admit to having a fondness for the last one, I actually know all the words and have the 12" remix which is the DBs )
