          Ah, that would explain it. Shame as Edinburgh, Stirling etc. were really nice places, nice people, lots to do etc.

            I'm moving out if there is independence, most likely the states. If there is another referendum then the company is moving its registered address to Manchester.

            I'm of German & Irish descent, both sides of my family had to change their names to 'fit in', I have no great love for this place.

                Serious question. Why would you move your registered office ? Do you anticipate higher business taxes ?

                Do you currently have a business premises in Scotland ?

                  If it was about taxes then I would move the company to Ireland.
