Not surprisingly they are all of an age where most don't yet have to pay for any of the state spending they demand. When/if they most of them get decent zero hours, NMW jobs and start looking at their tax deductions they may change their minds it won't make any difference to them.

I'm not great at detecting it. I assumed the post was sarcastic as the compulsory voting, apart from being directly opposed to the very principle of democracy, will have the exact opposite effect of finding out what the citizens really want.
