Its from BB's favourite climate scientist, so it must be true ...
So if you did not know why make the prediction?

Can anyone show me clear evidence of the effects of global warming/climate change/ whatever it is we are supposed to be getting so worried about?

And by evidence I mean a picture I can see?

The only way to do this is by ignoring the activists, ignore the politics, ignore the ad-homs and to ignore the spin.
You will probably be left with your own experience plus a few people who you know are observant, reliable and who don't have any skin in the game

The source of the 'prediction' quoted was a filler piece in the opinion pages of a newspaper website, written by a business journalist probably by ringing round a few Universities for quotes and paraphrasing the results. None of the primary sources - IPCC Assessment Reports and the literature - were predicting an imminent end to snowfall in the UK.

But if you have no actual science to back you up, well you have to resort to third rate science journalism....

That's interesting. Here is an article from the same source on the fraudulent hockey stick or was it just fundamentally flawed?

Well the Maldives have gone now like it was predicted, based on the 5m sea level rise....

and if we switched off all the fossil fuel powered stations tomorrow ?

...and houses weren't heated in Winter
                    ....and food couldn't be manufactured?

and is life expectancy lower than it was in the 17th century before we started pumping out CO2 ?

Would we have more or less deaths in total ?

Neither. Paleo reconstructions are not Curry's field, as became painfully obvious when she stepped into a debate over a review of a book making similar claims, and had her head handed to her ...
