Can you rephrase that, because commentators by their very nature are KNOWN for their words, not their actions? A side-point only though.

You will find that most lefties who proclaim to "care" about the poor do not earn very much and therefore pay little in tax (not sure that's actually true) if they genuinely cared they would go out and start a business, make millions and hand it over. The people who actually do these things are the rich 99% of who are right wing.

Most of those who we call champagne socialists ARE trying to become rich, just like everyone else. Getting rich is not easy - most right-wing people are not rich and never will be either, even if they aspire to it.

And the premise that the only way to help people is to get rich and use the money is also ridiculous. You've said previously that just giving money to poor people doesn't help them. The lefties I know - in both public and private sector jobs - give up their time. Not only for practical things like this (Handcrafted - Durham, UK) but support and friendship which are also pretty darn important.

Yes, but it related to Vidkun Quisling who only co-operated with the Nazis. Who, for clarification, had actually invaded Norway, rather than just being in a political union. Suggesting someone with different political views is a Quisling is something of an exaggeration, rather like what Goebbels specialised in.

Of course even the premise of what you say is wrong. Not every person does want to become rich. Those that do are rich those that are not rich are either lucky or do not want to be rich. We all choose the level; of wealth we want and strive accordingly.

The lefties you talk about may indeed help people and have such evidence to back their convictions (they are wrong in my opinion). I would wager that just as many righties do the same. socialism never enriched anyone other than those in office. People like Bill gates on the other hand has enriched himself through the capitalist system and in so doing has given more to help the poor than probably the entire aggregated population of left wing people in the world.
It is right wing ideology that creates the wealth and left wing ideology that squanders it.
