Think about the next time you are about to sin and your conscience speaks to you.
The problem you have there, my old son, is that your definition of sin will differ from mine considerably. And my conscience (she's not home yet but soon will be) is complicit in many of those acts of sin (but not as many as I'd like). So your blatant refusal to answer any sort of question with any sort of answer leaves us back where we started. Please don't insult my intelligence Chico, just because I don't blindly follow God, it doesn't make me a God hater. Please learn the difference, and do so quickly. You really are a thrush (google it).
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...
Oh come on guys... 'Chico' is the religious equivalent of 'Test Please Delete'... just attempting to be the longest running troll in the boards history....
Like the prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Elijah and the disciples Peter, Thomas, Matthew and Apostles like Paul, Timothy I will declare the way of the Lord.
Are you putting yourself up with the Apostles and prophets ? That's rather egotistical of you. I'm sure Jesus wouldn't have approved of this behaviour. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth.

Mordac. I saw you push a nun in a wheelchair off the top of a flight of stairs at the Park Hotel, Teddington because a waitress didnt come and take your order quick enough. Yes, your definition is different!!!!
I found that whereas the writer could have made an interesting for/against argument for religion vs atheism, that it was in fact a tedious piece of writing.
This paragraph
"These same secular babyboomer parents become moist-eyed at hearing Issac Watts’s, “When I Survey The Wondrous Cross” on their infrequent ‘hatch, match and despatch’ visits to church.. BUT THEIR CHILDREN DON’T KNOW WHY THEY WEEP!"
Has to be one of the most ill-researched, emotive, pieces of non-sensical drivel I have possibly ever heard and the author of this article is obviously working on their O-Level for RE. I am afraid C minus is the result.
An argument is an argument and one to which I am happily swayed if the argument is good enough. This was an AndyW/Janek post. Pure sh1te.
Erm, this isn't my bag really but how can you hate something if you don't believe it exists?
I don't hate God - I don't believe he exists.
That's not to say I'm not spiritual, I just don't believe in the God of the Bible. I really like Jesus, he did a lot of good things, but I don't believe he's the Son of Something That Doesn't Exist.*
That's all.
*This is probably ringing bells with High Energy Theologists out there.
PS. Ahh. Right you are, Bogeyman.
PPS. Also 'being without a God' does not equate with 'being without a conscience' - that's false logic and does not compute...

Reason: Noticed Bogeyman got in there before me...
"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
- Voltaire/Benjamin Franklin/Anne Frank...
There must be a moral code. The Christians, whilst responsible for some hideous carnage in its name, have the best so far. Desperate Islam, drippy Buddhism, daffy Hinduism, dull Shintoism and daft Animism: all lack its love for others.
