According to Nige anyone who doesn't see the world as he does is brainwashed.

yes a £40 flight is a massive expense if you get to pay the worker minimum wage rather than £10 an hour an experienced UK worker would probably expect. It must take almost 2 days to pay that back.

You can only fail yourself, no one can do it for you.
If you are a failure under the Tories you'll still be a failure under UKIP.
Its no surprise that UKIP are increasingly deriving their support from Labour voters with their dependency culture - that's why they've had to do a U-turn on their only sensible policy: reforming the NHS.
I'm rather disappointed that UKIP can't really come to power, it would be quite ironic to see your average kipper get even poorer due to UKIP policies.
So were most higher rate taxpayers but you find that not all of the workforce thinks like that. The Government has to help the workforce forward that is one of the reasons why we elect them.

maybe before you let your prejudices show you should think a little first?

both of my older children have been told by their teachers that UKIP policies are racist and that Tories have made 'savage cuts'.

No supporting evidence has been supplied to them so yes I would suggest Nige has a point.

You still haven't provided any evidence that this guy is paid less than the equivalent British worker, as opposed to being brought in because they couldn't find anyone. It's an obvious angle for UKIP or a journalist to explore so my guess is he isn't.

What do you want the government to do? There's the Open University if you want a degree later in life and loads of training options for the trades (both private and public).

Well that's what happens if you send them to a Labour-created comprehensive.

If anyone can get the Scottish version of ITV tonight on SKY, etc., it will be worth watching as David Coburn, UKIP's only Scottish MEP, gets interviewed on Scotland Tonight around 22:30. He comes out with some corkers.

If the Tories haven't made savage cuts then what have they been playing at... that's the whole point of austerity!

I don't think UKIP policies are racist (although the term's meaning has been evolving the last decade and doesn't mean quite what we think it means anymore), just a lot of their members and supporters.

You haven't provided any evidence that there is a shortage of labour apart from biased parties who stand to gain from importing cheap labour.

Not everyone wants, is capable of or needs a degree. First its a shortage of unskilled work then oh everyone needs a degree. make your mind up.

the workers I know being undercut by recent immigration have worked all their life and have frequently trained themselves to advance but they aren't brain surgeons.

Racist in PC term todays world means anything that doesn't follow marxist doctrine surely ?
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
