It's quite a shame that UKIP can't actually take outright power

Sounds more like a problem of oversupply and an inability to sell himself.

there might not be as many opportunities in Blackpool or Grimsby. Their behavior is poor if they want them on standby they should pay its as simple as that, if they can't organise it properly then that is the supermarkets problem.

I suppose that will convince a 3 year old, I'm sure you could do the same with the National socialists and the labour party.

He has a mouth , two legs and a brain he could either travel to where work is or do some legwork and find himself profitable work. He could go and get an HGV license, learn to install broadband boxes or climb electricity poles.

                Just vote Labour. Simples.

                  UKIP but then what...?

Thing with UKIP it really is a bit one a one man band... Nigel Farage is the quick talking, charismatic, Top Gear lovers dream but then what ...? besides Europe and foreigners "out" in terms of them controlling the UK and also the lazy spongers ... what then ......?

It's not really a party with a great philosophy or manifesto.... don't vote for protest parties or 'angrily or intolerantly motivated parties.. the Nazis were one of those.

Incidentally I wonder why nobody's heard from him lately: does he not have a view on how his new Parliament will be set up?

All well and good having aspirations and doing what your constituency wants (well a minority of it, at least, if we're honest about it), but this shower fill me with dread with their naked ambition for power at all costs.
Oooh touchy, resorting to cheap personal attacks.

Alex Salmond has been out campaigning but, at the moment, he is only a candidate for a seat at Westminster. It's the English Tory press who make him out to be the spokesman for the party when Nicola Sturgeon is leader of the party and Angus Robertson is leader of the Westminster group.

It won't be power at all costs. The SNP have set out their policies and the support in Scotland shows they are popular.
