Quite a few senior Labour figures are against an SNP-Labour alliance, and things do not appear to be headed in that trajectory at present. Equally, it may make it all the easier for the SNP to convince the Scots of the need to exit the UK... A win-win, for them.
Yep, win/win. Labour will concede more powers to us to get into No. 10 and Tories winning will see another indyref in the SNP manifesto for next year's Scottish elections.

Actually, I am now of the opinion another vote would be welcomed, there is no chance the nationalists would get over 50% and if they got less than the 44.7% then it is well and truly game over for them.

These figures next year after the oil drop are going to be a nightmare for the SNP. We have a Scottish 'government' that is completely fixated by an agenda other than the Scottish people and our economy is suffering because of it.

We've already seen the evidence on Question Time and in the English press the view that Scotland shouldn't have any input to the UK even if all 59 MPs returned are SNP. If that's meant to make us feel part of the union then it's clearly not working.

This won't be forgotten if we get another indyref and a lot of Nos will vote Yes next time.

Cite required. Who holds that view, and are they representative of the UK?

You won't get another ref - the main driving force has left now to line his pockets elsewhere. And even if you did, the economic questions have not been answered. If anything, there will be more "No" votes as the financial outlook for an independent Scotland looks far worse than it did three month ago.

If you read any of the MSM you will see where they are saying the SNP shouldn't have a say so yes, they are representative of the UK.

The main driving force? Do you mean Alex Salmond? He hasn't left to line his own pockets. He is standing to be an MP again and his FM pension that he is entitled to will be donated to North East charities until he actually retires.

Apart from Mr Salmond, there is still a driving force in Scotland at grass roots level. Why do you think the SNP have surged in the polls? Why has their membership gone through the roof since the indyref? The fact is, voters in Scotland have woken up and been energised. If they see dirty deals getting done in Westminster to stop their voice being heard then there will be a surge in support for another referendum.

They have had polls since September and more people have said they would vote Yes if we held another referendum in the next couple of years.

That story is over a year old and the figures have been published since.

                  Desperate, much?

Lucky we didn't base independence on our oil income then.

Even if the tax take is only £600m, that would be better spread around 5 million people than 70 million.

I think you will find the attitude is that MP's in devolved areas shouldn't vote on things that don't affect them, seems reasonable to me. Something your MPs have singularly failed to address despite the West Lothian question being asked in 1977, you would have thought after years of being ruled by foreign politicians they would want to fix it quick.

You are the ones who decided to stay in the union, we weren't asked. If we had been you would probably be feeling the door hit you in the arse on the way out. Many people are fed up subsidising you and then listening to you moaning.
