Interesting that you assume the man will earn more than the woman.

    SEXIST!

It's more sexist to assume the woman should look after the children, that's on par with telling women not to drive
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Unfortunately its not that simple it depends on what both parties agree implicitly by their actions.

The only good outcome from this case is that the number of super rich divorces in the English courts should decrease.

BTW I have met and know women who have lost out to their male ex-partners.

Indeed. Assuming women are only good to look after children and should not be working is incredibly sexist.

I am not sure that women are suitable to be CUK mods though...

I reckon my only chance for financial independence is to marry a woman who's already screwed her ex-husband out of a fortune, and then murder/cherish her depending on how things go.

                  So I'm against it.

read the story he is paying £40K in child maintenance and £30k in spousal maintenance. His Argument is she needs to get a job before he retires because he won't be able to keep her after that.

Note the 10 year old is with the mother, the older kid is at boarding school. Its not like she can't plan to retrain.

Its interesting that many of the posters piled in and declared it unreasonable that she got a job having been kept in relative luxury for years.

I think my butler pays that much.

£70k a year tax free is not enough to enable one to bath nightly in champers these days.
