That's where sincerity comes into it - Some religious leaders are not after gain and some are...... That's the problem with the people who follow the religion and not the religion itself. People kill each other for all sorts and not just religion. -
You have to wonder about one thing, 'the pen is mightier than the sword'
it might be mightier than the 'S' word, but the guns won this time

9mm shot in the head at short distance is OK to disarm somebody with AK, you can always shoot more than once to be sure."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

It's being reported that one of the murdered policemen - possibly the one you may have seen video or stills of, being shot in the head as he lay wounded - was himself a Muslim, named Ahmed Merabet.
Something for those who seek to blame all followers of Islam for the actions of a few extremist criminals to ponder.
If they're capable of pondering, that is, which their unreasoning bigotry suggests is not the case.Comment

We are not talking about shooting bricks, but human's head - if you thikn 9mm Glock bullet will harmlessly bounce off your head then by all means feel free to try it out.Originally posted by Paddy View PostComment

Fixed that for you. The motive wasn't money.Originally posted by Bunk View PostBecause, even though the murderers are in the wrong, this wasn't an unforeseen consequence of what the magazine published. Fair enough, they decided it was worth itto sell a few magazinesbecause they felt it was in defence of free speech, that's their choice but 2 cops and 2 others are dead because of it.
Should the police have not provided protection? In a country that also sees to defend freedom of speech (or at least, be seen to do so!)
Anyone working for the infidels isn't a proper Muslim. Muslims who don't follow their ideology are not proper Muslims.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostIt's being reported that one of the murdered policemen - possibly the one you may have seen video or stills of, being shot in the head as he lay wounded - was himself a Muslim, named Ahmed Merabet.

What's difficult to determine is how many Muslims support the killing of these journalists on the grounds of blasphemy. Are these people more representative of Muslims. I'd certainly like to think so, but how can we be sure? Though apparently most Muslim countries have condemned the attacks.
One twit tweeted that he'd only condemn the attacks if France condemned the murder of Muslims worldwide - apparently unaware that more Muslims are murdered by other Muslims than by non-Muslims.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

I take it your expert knowledge of Islamic theology and intimate acquaintance with the mood and beliefs of the majority of Muslims (of all sects) are what allow you to make such a sweeping pronouncement with authority?Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostAnyone working for the infidels isn't a proper Muslim. I presume that NAT's sweeping pronouncement was invisibly prefixed with "The extremists justification is that..."Originally posted by NickFitz View PostI take it your expert knowledge of Islamic theology and intimate acquaintance with the mood and beliefs of the majority of Muslims (of all sects) are what allow you to make such a sweeping pronouncement with authority?Comment

There is no such thing as a 9mm Glock Bullet. The Glock can be chambered for the 9mm Parabellum / 9x19 cartridge.[/Pedant]I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it.
