I have to agree with this. When the Thames was in spate earlier this year, I calculated that there was enough water going over Teddington weir to fill the new Wembley stadium every thirty eight minutes!!!Originally posted by Freaki Li Cuatre View PostFeck right off! This is a first world country FFS (and one in which there is a lot of water) and I am going to do my ablutions in a civilized manner.
To put this in perspective, this would fill their "26 olympic swimming pools" in 210 seconds
Of course finding and building new places to store water and ways to distribute it to our vastly increasing population would eat into profits, but the water companies need to be taken to task over this, it shouldn't be a case of piddling in the shower to save their ******* divis.
Anyway, why waste good pee:-
