You assume that the No voters all wanted devo max.
That is a rash assumption to make as many wanted things to remain the same and some wanted the Scottish Parliament scrapped...merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

So why all the panic promising powers last minute when it swung yes in the polls? Do you think if the 3 parties came up and vowed to remove powers the vote would have swung back to no?Originally posted by eek View PostYou assume that the No voters all wanted devo max.

The only answer for Scots is to sort out their bit of the economy and stop being dependent on the rest of the UK and the EU.
Then see what they vote for.
Unfortunately they won't achieve that by continuing to elect a succession of socialist politicians.Comment

It's a dire situation.
1) There should be a vote of no confidence for David Cameron.
2) The promise of devolving more powers must be upheld or they'll anarchy.

It's SHÍTE being Scottish! We're the lowest of the low. The scum of the fúcking Earth! The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilisation. Some hate the English. I don't. They're just wánkers. We, on the other hand, are colonised by wánkers. Can't even find a decent culture to be colonised by. We're ruled by effete assholes. It's a SHÍTE state of affairs to be in, Unix, and all the fresh air in the world won't make any fúcking difference!Comment
