    Oh quit the whining.

You could be living in Sierra Leone - then you would have something to actually worry about.

And many of you are wánkers. Besides, Edinburgh is pretty lovely, I hear.

The best thing that came about from this whole state of affairs was that it has forced the establishment out of its lethargic state of rest. Alongside the threat of UKIP, they're under pressure to change things and if they don't, they can expect a repeat of the same.

As for effete assholes, I am sure you would end up being ruled by your own homegrown variety. Unless there's a change in the mentality of the populace, it is always going to be that way. I was quite excited by the prospect of Scotland going at it alone, but I have little confidence that those who'd take the reins immediately after would be any good. Salmond was selling a pipedream, and I think Farage was quite right to say that he (Salmond) was selling the dream of being a small administrative region governed by Brussels. I think the value behind the movement was the idea of self-government and de-centralisation. The economic issues would be there, but whether they remained would be a function of what policies Scotland later adopted.

It got the three main party wánkers and sidekick wánkers Gordon Brown to wet their panties, though, which is always good. Long may they stay wet.

I bet quite a few elites in the US and EU, and within the banks that subsidise their trashy debt, got a fright.

Unfortunately they won't achieve that by continuing to elect a succession of socialist politicians.
That's what the Yes campaign wanted to do. I'd be happy if we got full control over our income and spending.
