I can put up with it. Looking at all the 500 quid phones with cracked screens around me makes up for it.

The one thing I haven't managed to break on my phone is the screen. Still, as I only spend <£150, no problems with the 3 I have destroyed in the last 3 years

Yep, I'm afraid that I'll be using my 2011 MBP until it dies and then will be buying something other than a Mac.

I've found my tipping point.

The dell XPS with infinity edge display is worth a look... the only problem is that it's not a Mac!

Also resale of previous model - my 3 year old rMBP should fetch around £600 (although I do need to account for VAT on this sale).

Still, despite the significant tax savings and wanting to upgrade I'm not sold on this touch bar. I need to try one in person.
