Got an email a couple of hours ago saying the GM Candidate should be available to the Public Beta testers, "from today".

It's not showing up yet, but I'd rather wait for one that's not going to get pulled when I'm a large chunk through downloading it (as has happened before).

So as I can’t look at most of the tech sites at work (& I have far too much stuff to do at home) & this will give the fanbois an excuse to proudly display there levels of geekery

Can someone give me the key differences between the 6 & the 6S, I am not considering the 6+ as is just too big for a phone & I have a tablet for use at home.

Also when is the 6S due for release?

S adds a better camera supporting 4k video capture amongst other things, faster CPU, and "3D touch" which basically just means the screen can tell how hard you're pressing it. Which will likely be used to glance at things (maybe like mouse-over type uses).

iPad Pro does look like an amazing piece of technology!

It does? It just looks like an iPad plugged into a bigger screen to me. Not saying it mightn't be very useful but if you are wanting a tablet for proper work why wouldn't you buy a Surface Pro, which has all the proper tried-and-tested software, rather than have to wait for iOS apps to appear?
