The Watch will fail, you will end up having to charge it every night and it's not water proof so useless for most sports. I liked the haptic feedback so you can tap someone remotely. But other than that gimmick it was a flop.

Not really, they have said its gonna be a MagSafe inductive charger, so technically not plugged in but not truely wireless

This is how ALL the mainstream wireless chargers for phones work. You put your device on the little plate and it charges. Beamed charging is AFAIK restricted to R&D labs.

You sit it on a pad, but then it's a Phone so you would be doing that anyway. With the Apple watch you wil have to take it off, attach the charger.
